Halloween

As usual, we had lots of activities during the month of October. Carter decided long ago that he wanted to be Batman and for Charlie to be Robin for Halloween. I decided that we needed to do another entire family theme one last time, since Carter will be in "big boy school" next year and might be too cool for that. So, I made a compromise with him... I let them be Batman and Robin for a Fall festival and for a local city trick or treat, and we were the Peanuts gang for regular trick-or-treating and for our church's trunk or treat.

Carter with his buddies Nick and Jonathan... The cookie walk...

Poor Carter was the last contestant standing. He stuck it out though, and went around all by himself so he could win!

The boys had Farmer Day at school, and I was able to go help with both parties.

I took the boys to Columbiana to their city trick or treat, and met up with the Purkeys.
We went to the Jones' house for our annual Halloween tradition... Chili, lots of good appetizers and sweets, and trick or treating.
Charlie liked the Mays' dog and didn't want to go to any more houses after that.

The whole gang (minus Charlie, who wouldn't participate).
