All about the food

Charlie is such a ham. He was eating his applesauce a few days ago and wanted me to take his picture. He kept putting the bowl up to his mouth and eating straight out of the bowl. He would make different poses and hold that way until I took the picture. Ha! So all of the following pictures with applesauce are posed, the way he wanted to do for each picture. :)

He also did the same thing with his Tofutti ice cream last night... (By the way, why can they make dairy free ice cream but not dairy free yogurt? Soy yogurt has milk in it... Ugh!)

Today, Holly and I ran some errands and did some shopping while all our children were in school. We got rained on, but it was still a fun day! We ended our day with a trip to Flip Burger for lunch. Oh. My. Gosh. It was SO good. It's very boutiquey, and we knew it's not child-friendly (thanks to Shelly's previous experience - she tried it out first and let us all know ;) ). We each got the Flip burger combo, which comes with a very delicious burger, some really awesome fries and a milkshake. We had the Krispy Kreme milkshakes, not really knowing what they were, but knowing it would have to be good... Well, they actually blend up some Krispy Kreme donuts with ice cream and milk. I have now added to the list of things for my last meal, if I ever choose one. Ha!

Our to-go cups with milkshake (we had to savor it and not drink it all at once):

SUPER awesome burger, with homemade pickles!

After lunch, we ran by Target for a couple of things and then went our separate ways to get our children. Carter had such a good day at school today, so we made a special craft treat (Fruit Loops on a yarn necklace).

Carter had a great time making it and was so excited to eat it... Until he determined that the fuzz from the yarn was getting in his mouth - yuck! So now we are sitting here watching what else but the Food Network, and he's eating Fruit Loops out of a bowl. :)

Had so much fun today and LOVED Flip Burger! Can't wait to go back soon and try a different milkshake!
Oh, and so glad Carter had a great day at school and got to make a fun fruit loop necklace. Way to go, Carter!

Okay...have you ever had the Krispy Kreme bread pudding. Oh my word...to die for and it will just about kill you. I need to find that recipe again...it uses 2 dozen KK's!
