Happy Valentine's Day!

Valentine's Day was fairly low key for us, except that we had a birthday party to go to for one of Carter's friends. Samantha was one of his first girlfriends, and she's still on the list...along with Coleigh and me :) He has gone to school with her since he was a baby - she went to his daycare 2 days per week, and she goes to his new school 1 day a week too. He got to see another friend from his old school also, since she still goes there. The theme was fairy tales, and it was optional to dress as your favorite fairy tale character. We opted to dress in normal clothes, but the party favors were given out as people arrived, and boys got bags from the Knights in Shining Armor section and were able to use their armor and swords for dress-up. How cute! However, I couldn't get Carter to dress in his armor or look at the camera at all...

Speaking of birthday parties... We had only mentioned this party and a couple of other parties one time each. However, Carter knew which order they were in as if he could read my calendar! He told me that first, we had to go to Samantha's party, then Andrew's, and then Ella's. He told me it would be my birthday after that. He said, "Mommy, your birthday is coming up soon!" Ha! He said he wanted to get me flowers, hugs, kisses, and a cake for my birthday. I couldn't imagine a more perfect birthday!

Valentine's Day night, we met Holly and Jonathan and the kids at the new jumping place we have (how romantic!). All the kids had so much fun, and the facility was so nice. Carter was so hot and sweaty!
This is after dribbling all the water from the water fountain on his shirt :)
