I forgot about this little gem until a few minutes ago. As we all know, Alan likes to be silly and give Carter a hard time. A few days ago, he told Carter he could have whatever he was asking for at the moment (I can't remember what he wanted) if he could read what was on Mommy's shirt (I was wearing a cross on my shirt). Carter said, "It doesn't have words. It's a cross. It means Jesus died on the cross for our sins." Now how could Alan not give him what he wanted?
