A Day at the Museum

When we were in Anniston for Jacob's graduation, we visited the Museum of Natural History. The boys had a fun time looking at all the animals, creatures and other exhibits.

One of Charlie's few animal sounds is the elephant (we pass an elephant sculpture in the car every day, and he always makes the sound). There was a big life-sized elephant in the exhibit above these little ones.

An earthquake machine - how fun!

Carter begged and begged and begged to go see the Egyptian exhibit throughout the entire tour. When we got there, he really wasn't impressed with the 2 mummies and artifacts, etc. I thought it was pretty interesting though, and learned about what all the different animal symbols mean in hieroglyphics. At the end, the kids got to put coins in this giraffe and he laughed.
